Veterans Day celebrations at various locations around the world, even Guam.
(TUMON, Guam (Nov. 11, 2022) - Military leadership, Government of Guam officials, and members of the Guam community joined together for a Veterans Day ceremony at Ypao Beach Park, Nov. 11. Joint Region Marianas Commander Rear Adm. Benjamin Nicholson was the keynote speaker for the event, and offered his gratitude to the community for their enduring support. Veterans Day is celebrated on Nov. 11 every year, and is a time to commemorate the dedication, service, and sacrifice of all who serve or have served in the U.S. Military.
The ceremony included music by the 721st Guam Army National Guard Band, a presentation of the 2022 Veterans of the Year, and a military flyover with a C-17 Globemaster III and B-1 Lancer from Andersen Air Force Base. (U.S. Navy photo by Randall W. Ramaswamy)urce: Wikimedia)
