I have a couple Steyrs in different actions but all in .308. I was introduced to SSG69 back in the 70s and the radically different SBS (Safe Bolt System) series in the late 90s while on shooting competitions in Austria. The SSG08 is the latest iteration of the SBS series. They all are SUPERBLY ACCURATE and meticulously fabricated. The 08 is a very expensive system, way beyond MY means.. the Steyr history is well documented, you might want to google it. Have fun Trent L.

I was wondering what weapon it was. Searched your guess, and I believe you are right. https://www.steyr-arms.com/...

I'm betting that the weapon in the foreground is a Steyr SSG08A1 in .338 Lapua. Dig the old school Belgian cammies...and I reckon some Austrian Jagdkommando are close by... another day in Paradise, Austria!!
