TINIAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Sept. 30, 2020) Builder 2nd Class John Williams, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, Construction Dive Detachment Alfa, inspects steel sheet pile during SCUBA operations within the Tinian Harbor. UCT 2 is conducting inspections as part of a maritime infrastructure assessment of the harbor and surrounding waterfront facilities in Tinian, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands during their 20-2 Indo-Pacific deployment. UCT 2 provides a capability for construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance of ocean facilities in support of Navy and Marine Corps operations.
