The Transportation Security Administration would like to remind travelers to leave their loaded guns out of their carry-on bags.

In the seven-day span from July 22 to July 28, TSA officers discovered 74 firearms – including 65 that were loaded – three inert grenades, a cleaver and several pocketknives, according to the administration’s blog.

Of the firearms, 29 had a bullet in the gun’s chamber. Air travelers can bring a gun in their checked baggage, but it has to be declared to the airline.

The inert grenades were discovered in carry-on bags at airports in Philadelphia, Missoula and Quad City. Any item resembling a grenade, live or inert, is not allowed on a flight.

“Unfortunately these sorts of occurrences are all too frequent which is why we talk about these finds,” TSA Social Media Team member Bob Burns wrote on the blog. “Sure, it’s great to share the things that our officers are finding, but at the same time, each time we find a dangerous item, the line is slowed down and a passenger that likely had no ill intent ends up with a citation or in some cases is even arrested.”
