During the course of 2017, the US will lead a multinational force of 1000 troops which will be stationed in the town of Orzysz in northeastern Poland. Aside from US troops, the force will include soldiers from Romania and the United Kingdom. Brigadier General Jarosław Gromadziński states in the video the importance of such a deployment, as it gives the people of Poland the reassurance that participating in the North Atlantic Alliance is not just “flag waving” and showcases the commitment of the Alliance to defend its members. – -Vasilis Chronopoulos
