The Silent Pocket Faraday Cage products help you mitigate the risk of being hacked, tracked, or exposed to harmful radiation. We emphasize the need for personal security, but mind-set and concealed carry only go so far.  Your situational awareness must extend into the digital realm. #mindthegrid

At SHOT show, I had the chance to talk to Aaron from Silent Pocket. Information about digital threats is available but not widely known. You can protect your self completely with a Faraday cage. I got a dual pocket model which will hold my cell phone, wallet and passport when I travel. I don’t like to share my data with criminals or intelligence services.

Named after the scientist Michael Faraday, who invented them in 1836, the Faraday cage is an enclosure used to block electrical fields. It is formed by conductive material or by a mesh of such materials.

Faraday cages work because an external electrical field causes the electric charges within the cage’s conducting material to be distributed such that they cancel the field’s effect in the cage’s interior.
