Minuteman Watch Co. releases first watch series with automatic movements

The Minuteman Darby is named in honor of Brigadier General William O. Darby. General Darby is credited with bringing the Army Rangers back into existence in the United States during World War II. General Darby formed and commanded the 1st -3rd – 4th Ranger battalions, and was killed in action near the very end of the war while serving as assistant Commander of the Tenth Mountain Division.

The Minuteman Gray Man The Minuteman Darby model will be offered in a choice of black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) as well as brushed stainless steel. Both versions will be constructed of 316L stainless steel.

The Gray Man name comes from a term used by many regarding Navy SEALs BUD/S training. “There is a saying in BUD/S: ideally you want to become the gray
man. In other words, you become invisible, nobody notices you, because you do everything so perfectly that you never stand out.” The dials for this model have a
black background and a very light grey printing for the text, numerals, and markers.
