Watch: Which rifle foregrips are best?

I can see where the vertical would work better on a sub gun. . definitely. .

Scott-I have the AFG on rifles but I like the vertical grip on subguns or SBRs.

Same here. Started with a vert grip, but over time naturally transitioned into the high bore he mentioned. It just seems more intuitive, especially growing up on traditional hunting rifles. I do use the KAG on my .308, but it was never intended for close quarters any way. More of an enhanced hand stop

Used the magpul since they came out - the new version is the one preferred. Its all about what fits for you. A lot of the guys we work with have gone "gripless" especially for CQB - but I have found under sustained fire the weapon gets hot enough for the offhand grip to be compromised even with gloves - a foregrip gives that extra grab for better control.

+1... angled grips are where it's at. Anything else puts a weird pressure in my wrist that gets annoying after a few minutes.
